About BTEC Higher Nationals

Designed with involvement from universities, employers, students and professional bodies, BTEC Higher Nationals provide real world experience, as well as academic knowledge. This ensures students leave with expertise recognised by business and industry, and the flexibility to go straight into employment, or progress to a degree. BTEC Higher National qualifications are widely recognised by industry and higher education authorities around the world as the principal technical professional qualification at Levels 4 and 5. Developed in conjunction with employers, students, and professional bodies, BTEC Higher Nationals offer students real experience, opportunities and comprehensive qualifications that will benefit their chosen career. Beaconhouse International College intends to launch Higher National Diplomas in its purpose built state of the art campuses in Islamabad and Faisalabad by August/September 2020.

Why HND?

BTEC Higher National Diploma Allow continuity for level 3 students, providing them with a clear progression route to level 4 and 5, whilst meeting the needs of local employers and government. Students can also chose to top up to a university degree, by doing their final year in a wide range of local and foreign universities, including Beaconhouse International College. A range of general and specialist units, both core and optional, each with a clear purpose, ensure that there is something to suit each student’s choice of programme and future progression plans. Assessments and projects are chosen to help students progress to the next stage (this means some are set by the center to meet local needs, while others are set by Pearson).

What could these qualifications lead to?

The Level 5 Higher National Diploma allows students to specialise by committing to specific career paths and progression routes to degree-level study.
On successful completion of the Level 5 Higher National Diploma, students can develop their careers in various sectors through:

  • Committing to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Undergraduate Programmes

Our undergraduate courses will give you an amazing college experience that's rooted in the rich heritage of Beaconhouse and its TNE partners. You'll have opportunities within and outside of your course that will help you grow academically, personally and professionally. These courses will be offered in our custom built campuses in Islamabad and Faisalabad starting from August 2020, and will include humanities, business, and sciences degrees. We hope to offer a range of courses that will diversify the options that students currently have available in the transnational space in Pakistan.
