Am I Eligible?

To be eligible for the BSc (Hons) Computer Science - Goldsmiths, University of London you must:

  • Be 17+ by age in the year of registration.
  • Have passed A Level with 104 UCAS points from a minimum of 2 A Levels, preferably including a Humanities and Social Science subject. Maximum of 20 AS points accepted
    or
    HSSC Intermediate / Higher Secondary Certificate: with a 75% overall award marks
    or
    BTEC National Diploma DMM in a relevant subject area is required if no other level 3 qualifications are taken.
  • Provide proof of competence in English by having UK GCSE/GCE O level at Grade C. Otherwise a test of proficiency will be required.
  • Each application will be considered on an individual basis, and the decision will be taken at the discretion of the Liverpool John Moores University.

For access to the BSc Business Administration degree, you will usually meet the following criteria:

  • Age 17+ by 30 November in the year of registration.
  • A’ Level / IBDP or BTEC Business awards, provided grade BBB or above is achieved
  • Provide proof of competence in English by having UK GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level at grade C. Otherwise a test of proficiency may be required.

  • Each application will be considered on an individual basis, and the decision taken at the discretion of the University of London.

To be eligible to register for the LLB you must:

  • Normally be aged 17 or above by the 30 November in the year of registration.
  • A’ Level / IBDP or BTEC Business awards, provided grade BBB or above is achieved.
  • Provide proof of competence in English by having UK GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level at grade C. Otherwise a test of proficiency may be required.

  • Applications will be considered from applicants who do not meet the normal minimum age requirement for admission.

To be eligible for the degree, you must:

  • Age 17+ by 30 November in the year of registration.
  • A Levels with minimum 120 UCAS points in A’ Level
    or
    26 IB Points
    or
    BTEC Business awards (provided grade DMM or above is achieved)
    or
    any other relevant high school qualifications
  • Provide proof of competence in English by having UK GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level at grade C. Otherwise a test of proficiency may be required.
  • Each application will be considered on an individual basis, and the decision will be taken at the discretion of the Liverpool John Moores University.

To be eligible to register for the HND Business you must:

  • A BTEC Level 3 qualification in Business.
  • A GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject. This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C (or equivalent and/or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) in subjects such as mathematics and English
  • Other related Level 3 qualifications
  • A Pass in Intermediate
  • An Access to Higher Education Diploma awarded by an approved further education institution Related work experience
  • An international equivalent of the above.

To be eligible to register for the HND Art & Design you must:

  • A BTEC Level 3 qualification
  • A GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject.
  • Other related Level 3 qualifications
  • A Pass in Intermediate
  • An Access to Higher Education Diploma awarded by an approved further education institution Related work experience
  • An international equivalent of the above.

To be eligible for the degree, you must:

  • Age 17+ by 30 November in the year of registration.
  • A Levels with minimum 112 UCAS points with a minimum grade C in Mathematics and one of the following subjects ((Physics, Chemistry, Computing, Further Maths, Engineering)
    or
    BTEC Award (provided grade DMM or above is achieved) in an Engineering discipline with a distinction grade in the Further Mathematics unit.
    or
    HSSC - Intermediate / Higher Secondary Certificate: entry to level 4 requires a 75% overall award mark; mathematics passed at 70% or above in final year, passes in physics and chemistry.
    or
    any other relevant high school qualifications
  • Provide proof of competence in English and Mathematics by having UK GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level at grade C. Otherwise a test of proficiency may be required.
  • Each application will be considered on an individual basis, and the decision will be taken at the discretion of the Liverpool John Moores University.

To be eligible for the degree, you must:

  • Generally, applicants should have a 2:1 or above from an Honours degree in a related subject; Law, History or Politics.
    Or
    Applications from non-standard applicants are welcomed who can demonstrate relevant work experience of at least 2 years in an IR related field and an ability to succeed at the MA level.
  • Where English is not a first language, an IELTS score of 6.5 must be achieved, with a minimum of 7.0 in academic writing.
  • Each application will be considered on an individual basis, and the decision will be taken at the discretion of the Liverpool John Moores University.

Fee Information

Students enrolled at BIC will pay the following fees

  • University of London fee is to be paid in Pounds (GBP) via bank draft/credit card directly to the University of London.
  • Liverpool John Moores University and Pearson programme fee is to be paid in Pounds (GBP) via bank draft/credit card to the designated Beaconhouse International College account.
  • Beaconhouse International College fee is to be paid in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) as per the fee voucher given to the student.

Financial Aid

Award Process

  • All categories of scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A student will be eligible for a scholarship in only one category out of the three at any given time; the higher one will be awarded.

MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIP

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Eligibility for merit scholarships in BTEC Level 3 / Undergraduate programmes is based on results achieved in the CAIE O Level/IGCSE/Matriculation and A Level respectively.

CO-CURRICULAR AND SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP

CO-CURRICULAR: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Co-curricular activities include the following:

  • Debates
  • Visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography)
  • Performing arts (music, drama and dance)

The criteria for selection is as follows:

  • Achievement at the international or national level
  • Achievement at the provincial Level (only applicable to BTEC Level-3 admissions)
  • Achievement at the district/city level (only applicable to BTEC Level-3 admissions)

SPORTS: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A student will be eligible for a sports scholarship if any of the criteria is met for each category including:

  • Achievement at the international or national level
  • Achievement at the provincial Level (only applicable to BTEC Level-3 admissions)
  • Achievement at the district/city level (only applicable to BTEC Level-3 admissions)

FINANCIAL AID

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Financial aid will be awarded based on information provided in the application form for financial aid.

FEE WAIVER FOR BSS STUDENTS

 Beaconhouse International College provides seamless progression to Beaconhouse’ students. Students applying for admission to any of the Beaconhouse International College campuses are exempted from the Admission and the Security fee.

Note: Beaconhouse reserves the right to cancel/amend the scholarship policy as and when required.

UNIVERSITY OF LONDON SCHOLARSHIP

ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The University of London International Programmes offers financial support to undergraduate students in Pakistan through its Academic Achievement Awards. These are awarded to the top five Undergraduate Laws students and the top five students on Economics, Management, Finance and the Social Sciences programmes after their first year of study with the University. This award covers University of London fees in the student’s second year.
